On the road again

Back out the Penn Turnpike once again. This time though it`s less painful. For my anniversary my loving wife got me an iPod Nano and an FM transmitter. This means that I loaded it up with music and podcasts and now thetime in the ca4 flys bye. The morning it`s the Hope 6 podcasts of the presentations. Everything from lockpicking to computer forenics to social engineering.

The Past Fading away

These books are from the 1700's. As part of the 3 major states from the original 13 states, these books contain some of the signatures from people who formed the colonies that later became the United States. This is fading edge of the Country's history. Arriving soon, via the newest scanning technology, to a computer near you! Fully restored and readable. Preserved for all time as a digital copy.

Trying to save the Past

This is what my new job does. We try to save the past. All these books contain Deeds to peoples home. If they rot away, the link to ownership disappears.

her name in lights

Sim is teaching at the IBS show this weekend. This is the first time that I get to see her in action.

IBS Show

this is the first time that I have been able to travel with Sim to one of her teaching assignments. Very interesting seeing her in "show" mode. Also a lot of pride in seeing her name listed on the board as someone that people want to hear from. Me, I`m just the roadie but I`m enjoying the ride.
