Beach goers get a second wind
The crowds were building as I headed home. In another week or so, parking will become a nightmare and the crowds will build until you can't see the wood slats of the boardwalk. The barkers at the games will be heard for a 100 yards and there will be the smell of boardwalk foods and the screams of kids on the rides filling the air. And at night the sky will fill with the stars over the ocean as only they can be seen from a northern view of the heavens.
Pt. P Boardwalk (continued)
You can tell the "City" people form the locals. Flat billed baseball caps and New York Mets or Jets sport garb and sandals with socks, while the local are in swimsuits and Ron Jon t-shirts and reef sandals.
Point Pleasant on Memorial Day
The crowds were burned and starting to head home. I sit at the Seaside Cafe and get a view of it all with a drink in hand.

Live from under the Red Split Leaf!!!
These kids followed Mom out from under the red split leaf maple this morning. It's not Constance, but maybe her sister?
Frontyard Visitors
These kids dropped by late Friday night. But this was only the beginning. You should see what is living under the red split leaf maple just below the window...

Wil Wheaton's Geek in Review: The Damn Parents Today
"there is, in fact, an entire generation of parents, about my age or just a little older, who are substituting technology for parenting. As a result, there's an entire generation of children who are overstimulated and undersocialized, and in some cases heavily medicated, because their damn parents would rather distract them with a DVD or videogame"(warning this is a linked off blog source and content is subject to change)

The neighbor's front yard
The neighbors have a beautiful front yard. A white pear tree that just went green, it was covered in white flowers just last week. A cherry tree thats bright pink and a red maple just like the one in our front yard. I just love the variety of plants and trees here in the northeast.
Waiting to be Openned
Up north there is the May openning of the pool. Must be open by Memorial day so that you can freeze in the pool.
Last of the Red Tulips
This whole area was full of red tulips for a full month. Now with temps getting up to the 70s they are quickly going away.
My next project
It needs a little help to hold water and a spinkler head (already bought, nice dome spray) but as you can see no need for more plants
Shades of Disney Topiary
Cutting these took a few moments but the look is GREAT!!! This is what happens when you listen to WDW Radio Podcasts on your Nano will working in the yard. All the inspiration of the Disney Imagengineers floods through your head.
