TODAY INTO LATE THIS EVENING FOR THE ENTIRE REGION.

A COLD FRONT STRETCHED NO. TO SO. FROM NY STATE SW
ALONG THE APPALACHIANS MTNS IN NO. CAROLINA WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE EAST TODAY. AHEAD OF THE FRONT, THE TEMPS WERE ABOVE
FREEZING WITH RAIN FALLING & SOME OF IT HEAVY OVER THE DELMARVA
PENINSULA, & THERE MAY AN OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORM THIS MORNING.
LOW PRESSURE WILL FORM ON THE FRONT OVER VA THIS MORNING THEN
MOVE TO THE MID ATLANTIC COAST WHILE INTENSIFYING OFF DE AND
NJ. COLD AIR WILL POUR IN BEHIND THE DEVELOPING LOW & THE
RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW, ON THE HEALS OF AN INCREASING NORTHWEST
WIND THAT WILL BE SUSTAINED BETWEEN 20 & 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 45
MPH LATER THIS AFTERNOON & EVENING.
THE WINDS & THE FALLING SNOW WILL CREATE POOR VISIBILITIES AT TIMES
AND MAKE DRIVING A LITTLE DIFFICULT BY THIS AFTERNOON.
SOME SMALL TREES & POWER LINES MAY POSSIBLY COME DOWN WITH WINDS
REACHING NEAR 50 MPH.
