THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 4 PM EST FRIDAY.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT & ACCUMULATE UP TO AROUND AN INCH BY DAWN. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE DURING THE MORNING ON FRIDAY, BUT IT IS EXPECTED TO MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN BY EARLY AFTERNOON & THEN TO RAIN BY LATE AFTERNOON.
PRECIPITATION MAY CHANGE BACK TO SNOW BEFORE ENDING BY DAWN SATURDAY.

AT THIS TIME, THE FORECAST TOTAL OF SNOW & SLEET ACCUMULATION IS 1 TO 2 INCHES. IN ADDITION, A GLAZE OF ICE, ALBEIT TRANSIENT, WILL BE POSSIBLE IN AREAS THAT EXPERIENCE FREEZING RAIN.
