A STEADY SNOW IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION EARLY TUESDAY EVENING & CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT. AS MILDER AIR BEGINS TO WORK IN FROM THE SO. & EAST TOWARD DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY, THE SNOW WILL CHANGE TO SLEET & FREEZING RAIN, THEN CHANGE TO PLAIN RAIN BY NOON ON WED WHEN TEMPS CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING. THE PRECIPITATION SHOULD TAPER OFF TOWARD WED EVENING.
THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW & SLEET TO OCCUR.
